Gaze up out my window, I see a feint glow
Dimly lit tree tops and slightly lit up roads
I lay across the couch, sit up to a slouch
I can’t remain indoors have to go on out
Ya see the day was rough, I think I had enough
Life is filled with drama and other stuff
If one thing is true, It’d be my love for you
Despite my deplorable actions and attitude

I keep hearing people say I have nothing to prove
But I can’t help but disagree when it comes to you

Disagreements, arguments, and problematic situations
The dances are basic steps that are exaggerated
I refuse to look away because I stand adjacent
And I wanna look at your face when I stand and face it
I wanna hold your hands while the warm embrace of
My arms from behind ya are a well known expectation
Although more recently it feels as if I’m more a burden
I’m sorry that you suffer from the things I am learning
But I promise you are my concern… Im burning…

Like a supernova it seems my time has ran out
Im the star who will blow up and rain down
The fragments make the shootin stars ya like to see
I hope you think of positive if of any memories…

The calming of the seas, passing of the moon
Once the sun does rise, and you open your eyes

I can’t reverse a thing, the offenses stack higher
I am no sun in a galaxy but I feel I’m on fire
Perhaps I’m just truly a black hole in disguise
