If there was no price for humans to pay
Would morality exist beyond this day?

Fuck no, expect hell upon this earth
Darkened skies and blood stained dirt
Nuclear warfare, guerrilla tactics used
Chemical weapons being swiftly produced
Power abused but pride is obvious sin
Whether you’re cocky or over confident
Wrath and conquest in every mans breath
He’ll kill his neighbor and take the land left
As if he was in the will though his will was ill
It bothers me how people can do this still
Slaughtering their own race; Human kind
As if skin color can be used to identify
Rather to distinguish and ultimately divide
Why can’t we unify? Oh cause it was tried
Greed is like weed, a choice you could leave
But shit life is fast so people prefer speed
Ya know acting rash like a babies bottom
Everyone asked for a dollar you can spot em
When they carry hundreds but why even spend
What you can take from another in the end?
I’m working hard to take what you earned
Shit if I can’t have it, it’ll end up burned
That’s the mentality as it stands even today
So again, What if morality had to fade away?

This is why those who govern by fear are wise
Cause it keeps the order within cowards lives
I mean what an incentive not to cheat or lie
Then to spatter “You’ll go to hell when you die”?
I know few men who spend their time discerning
Right from wrong, staying strong, and learning
The ins and outs, ups and downs of living at all
Our race is self destructive, causing their own fall
I suppose that’s one way to rise up to heaven
Sabotage this life until everyone is dead then

They call us temporary; Ash to ash, dust to dust
But we can live eternally if we all follow love
