Transitions

The sun is warm, the sky is clear
The clouds, they drift then disappear
I ride the winds, They turn and steer
Until they take me far from here.

The night is dark, the moon is bright
The stars taken over by cloudy skies
The plants weep, starved from sun light
I weep for I’m alone tonight.

I’ve seen the outcast winter snow,
Hated by most; despised and loathed,
The hearts of men fill with woe,
The souls of children play and glow!

The summers heat bakes the ground
The hearts of men are all worn down,
They sweat, perspire and wont go out
But the children play in waters now.

Sway in the spring, in autumn we fall
Summer is prime, and winter’s our call
Taken from earth, erasing our faults
Salvation at last, for one and for all.
